Manicure is a wonderful practice that offers a wide range of aesthetic and health benefits for your beloved hands and nails. Let me explain in more detail why you should contact me for your next manicure in Alicante:
1. Flawless appearance: A skillfully done manicure gives your hands a clean and sophisticated look. This not only makes you look elegant but also boosts your self-esteem and leaves a lasting impression.
2. Hygiene and infection prevention: Keeping your nails clean and well-groomed is essential to prevent the build-up of bacteria and dirt, which can lead to uncomfortable infections. A professional manicure ensures optimal hygiene and protects your nail health.
3. Encourages healthy growth: Treating your nails with regular care and attention promotes healthy growth, helping to prevent breakage and chipping. This results in stronger, more resilient nails with natural beauty.
4. Well-being and relaxation: A manicure is a self-care ritual that provides precious moments of relaxation and pampering. A soothing massage, gentle exfoliation, and deep hydration turn each session into a revitalising experience for both body and soul.
5. Personal expression: Manicure is a canvas to express your style and personality. With a wide variety of colours, designs and creative techniques, you can transform your nails into works of art that reflect your unique taste and individuality.
6. Specialised treatments: Additional options like strengthening products and cuticle therapy offer even more benefits for the health and beauty of your nails, elevating the manicure experience to a higher level.
Take care of yourself with a manicure, inside and out.
In conclusion, getting a manicure in Alicante is much more than a simple accessory for your hands; it’s an act of love and care that nourishes both body and soul, providing visible and lasting results that will make you feel radiant and confident.

Manicure in Alicante and Nails in Ancient Civilisations.
Manicure, the care and beautification of nails, has a long history that dates back to ancient civilisations. Although there is no specific origin attributed to manicure, the practice can be traced back several centuries.
Did you know the origin of manicure?
It is believed that manicure has its roots in ancient India, where the “mehendi” or henna was practised—a decorative art form in which a plant-based henna extract was applied to nails and hands to create temporary designs. This practice was not only considered aesthetically pleasing, but also held cultural and spiritual significance.
In China, around 3000 BC, the aristocracy used dyes and polishes to decorate their nails. Dark colours like gold and silver were especially popular among the upper classes.
In ancient Egypt, around 2300 BC, both men and women dyed their nails in bright colours to signify their social status. Cleopatra stood out as a historical figure known for her decorated nails.
In Greek and Roman cultures, nail care was also important. Women used dyes to enhance their beauty, and well-groomed nails were seen as a symbol of social standing.
During the European Middle Ages, the Church and conservative society considered manicure inappropriate, but it resurged during the Renaissance when beauty and aesthetics were given more attention.
With the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century, manicure began to gain popularity in the West. The introduction of products like nail files and polish contributed to the growth of the practice.
Throughout the 20th century, the manicure industry expanded with the introduction of advanced techniques and products. Artificial nails, gel, and acrylic became common, and manicure evolved into a form of personal expression and fashion.
Today, just like the manicure I offer in Alicante, it is an essential part of the beauty world, with a wide variety of styles, colours and techniques available to suit the tastes and preferences of people all over the globe.
